Management of the Purde 27 residence hall by the Tartu Student Village began after the merger of the Teachers' Seminar with the University of Tartu. Thus, the residence hall of Purde 27 is the closest to the study buildings of the Faculty of Education.

There are three entrances in the unrenovated part with apartments with 1, 2 or 3 rooms and 1–2 places per room. Each apartment has a shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

There are apartments with 2 twin rooms in the renovated part of the building, with a shared kitchen, shower room and toilet. There are a laundry room and bicycle room in the building. There is a parking lot in front of the building.

The apartment has also a common shower room and toilet.

In a bigger twin room the average price of each place is 56 EUR per month.
