Signing the residential agreement
After the deposit money has reached us, we will send out the accommodation confirmation e-mail.
On paper – The contract can be signed after the student has already moved into the student residence. An e-mail is sent to the student instruction when and where they can sign the residential agreement.
Digitally – It is possible to sign the residential agreement digitally in E-kyla with an ID-card. If signing the contract in E-kyla is unsuccessful, then the agreement container can be downloaded, signed with either an ID-card, Smart-ID or Mobile-ID in the computer and then the container can be sent to us at email@example.com. The digitally signed file can be accessed at any time in E-kyla. More about digital signing can be found HERE.
By signing the residential agreement, the tenant has confirmed, that they have familiarized themselves with the terms and conditions and annexes of the residential agreement.
Key and card
The necessary room key(s) and card will be issued from the beginning of the residential agreement:
- Tartu city – from the reception at Raatuse 22 24/7.
- Viljandi city – from Väike 6 student residence during the working hours of the hall manager Mon-Fri 9.00-16.00. If you will be arriving outside of those times then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Narva city – from Kerese 14 student residence during the working hours of the hall manager Mon-Fri 9.00-16.00. If you will be arriving outside of those times then contact us at email@example.com.
Cancelling the residential agreement
The residential agreement can be cancelled before it begins by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then cancel the agreement and return your deposit money to you (bank transfer fees will be deducted).
All agreements are signed for one accommodation period, that starts on the 1st of July and ends on the 30th of June. A new agreement needs to be signed for every accommodation period. Instructions for signing the agreement for another accommodation period will be sent out to all tenants. The contract can be terminated with a 30days’ notice.
