The Nooruse 7 student dormitory was fully renovated in 2024 and offers modern and comfortable living conditions. The building has single and double rooms, as well as 8 private studio apartments for one person.
- The studio apartments are self-contained units where students have their own bathroom, toilet, and a small kitchenette for cooking.
- On the first floor, there are apartments where the residents of two or three single rooms share a kitchen, toilet, and shower.
- In the rest of the building, each apartment consists of one single room and one double room, with a private toilet and shower, as well as a refrigerator for the apartment’s residents.
These apartments share a common kitchen located in the hallway. Each wing of the dormitory has shared kitchens used by the residents of four apartments. The kitchens are equipped with induction stoves, ovens, and microwaves. Each room has its own designated shelf in the shared kitchen for storing kitchen supplies.
Behind the building, there is free parking available for tenants upon registration. Bicycle storage rooms are located outside, both in front of and behind the building. The dormitory also has an elevator and a gym equipped with training equipment. Wi-Fi is free for tenants and available throughout the building.

Location
The Nooruse 7 student dormitory is located in an excellent area – right next to the University of Tartu’s Maarjamõisa campus. Several university buildings are nearby, including Biomeedikum, Chemicum, Physicum, and the Technology Park.
There is very good bus connection to the city center, and the nearest grocery store is about 850 meters away.
Room types and floor plans
Single rooms and twin rooms
Most apartments have two rooms – one single room and one twin room. The apartments have a shower room and a toilet, which are intended for the tenants of both rooms. There is a refrigerator in the hallway. There is no separate kitchen in the apartments, but there is a common kitchen in the corridor, which is used by residents of several apartments.
Single room in an apartment with a kitchen
Single rooms on the first floor are located in apartments with 2 or 3 rooms. The apartments have a shower room, toilet and kitchen for the tenants to share. These apartments offer more privacy when using the kitchen than apartments with single and double rooms.
Single studio apartment
Each floor has one single studio apartment. The studio apartment offers complete privacy – it has a private shower room, toilet and kitchenette.
